Folk duo Ordinary Elephant will put on a show at Old San Ysidro Church on Nov. 9.
Husband and wife songwriters Crystal and Pete Damore are on tour in support of their self-titled album Ordinary Elephant, released independently in May.
According to a press release, their live show focuses on the magic and beauty hiding in plain sight. The all-ages show in Corrales runs from 7:30-9 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $27 online (htickets.holdmyticket.com/tickets/431249?tc=hmt) and $32 at the door.
According to the release, “Ordinary Elephant began in 2014 when the Damores left their established careers to pursue music full-time, hitting the road in an RV. They gained a following and won the International Folk Music Award for Artist of the Year in 2017 with their breakout album, Before I Go. Their 2019 follow-up, Honest, was praised as one of the best Americana and folk duo records of the year.â€
