Rides, Strides and Giddy-up: Corrales Spring Recreation Fair!

Who: Adults and Children of all ages!

What: Learn about recreational activities in Corrales

Where: Corrales Recreation Center, 500 Jones Road, Corrales

When: Sunday, April 30, 2023 10AM-1:00 PM

Booths:

· Parks and Recreation – Learn about the gym expansion, opportunities for tennis, skateboarding, pickleball, bocce ball, swimming, soccer.

· Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Commission – Helmet fitting, basic repairs, clean your bike, “bike etiquette,” Bike Rodeo for kids, free helmet giveaways, tips on walking with dogs.

· Corrales Bosque Commission – Bird watching, raptor/owl demonstration, fishing in the Bosque.

· Equestrian Advisory Commission – Come meet a horse, learn about equestrian activities, learn how to approach horses safely on recreational pathways, noodle pony rodeo for kids.

· Fire Department – Information on safety and emergency services.

Why: Know how to recreate with other cyclists, horses, pedestrians, dog walkers so we all have fun and keep healthy, happy, and safe!
