A Corrales man will not face charges after he accidently left his loaded gun unattended in a bathroom at Ex Novo brewery.

On Saturday, May 13, Corrales Police Department were dispatched to Ex Novo brewery after a customer reportedly found a Glock 30 in a bathroom.

Management told police a customer notified brewery staff that their adult-aged daughter had found the gun on top of a shelf  in a concealed holster. The gun had ten rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber.

Police took custody of the gun and the owner contacted them later that day. The man said that he was eating at Ex Novo when he needed to use the restroom and accidentally left the gun behind. According to police, he did not consume alcohol while at the brewery.

A criminal complaint was filed in the Sandoval County Magistrate Court charging the man with negligent use of a firearm and unlawful carrying of a firearm in a liquor establishment. The charges were later dismissed.
