Happy birthday, Sandoval County.
Sandoval County was founded on March 10, 1903. 122 years and two days later, elected officials, first responders, county residents and employees gathered at the Sandoval County Administration Building in Bernalillo to celebrate before the March 12 commission meeting.
Sandoval County Commission Chair Michael Meek kicked off the festivities.
รขโฌลThank you so much for celebrating a great time for all of us,รขโฌย Meek said. รขโฌลWith all the great changes we’ve got going on in the county, it’s going to be a good next 122.รขโฌย
Since its founding in 1903, Sandoval County has grown to over 150,000 people across 3,700 square miles.
