Several weeks ago, when we had that snow storm that caused widespread power outages in Corrales, Albuquerque, Santa Fe and elsewhere, our own Post Office had no power.
Despite this and in keeping with their motto that “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds,” our post office staff placed mail in our mail boxes even though the entire Post Office was completely dark due to the power outage.
We are so fortunate to live in Corrales and have such a dedicated group of people in our lovely Post Office. I want to thank them, commend them, for their service and their dedication.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
