The annual Corrales July Fourth parade is more than a parade, it’s the village’s largest event of the year. Attracting thousands of visitors along Corrales Road, this year’s parade and events for the Fourth will be even bigger than before.

The parade features horses, marching bands, antique cars, tractors and more. There are two sections of the parade, the dry section and the wet section, where spectators and parade participants get sprayed with water to cool down on a hot summer day.

This year, the parade’s route will begin at Corrales Elementary at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 4. The parade route ends at the Corrales Recreation Center at 500 Jones Rd. around 11 a.m.

Food trucks and ice cream booths will be at the end of the parade. There will also be a BBQ fundraiser for the Friends of Corrales Library located at La Entrada Road. All proceeds will go toward the Corrales Community Library.
