Kiwanis Donates for School Gym |

The Corrales Kiwanis Club has donated a check for $2,200 to purchase new gym mats for Corrales Elementary School.
A check presentation ceremony came February 13 when the funds were
turned over to Parent-Teacher Association President Lynette Colyer,
Principal Deanne Golleher and Physical Education Coach Toby
Chavez. Attending for the local Kiwanis was past president David
Montoya and current president Sandy Rasmussen.
Club members raised the money by working at the Corrales Harvest
Festival last fall. Member Jim Tritten noted, “This is an excellent
example of the partnership of multiple Corrales private volunteer
organizations [PTA, Kiwanis and Harvest Festival Committee] assisting
each other to benefit Corraleños.” |
